We had a fun class yesterday!
After talking about nuclear power plants, we talked about ways to stay cool. We can use the air conditioner, eat ice cream, go to the supermarket...
We discussed how to use some adverbs, like truely, certainly, really, incredibly, kind of, so-so...
We also talked about our summer vacation plans and where to go to find nice beaches in Japan.
It was especially fun to practice "tongue twisters" together!

If a woodchuck could chuck wood?

I hope to substitute again sometimes in the future!
  

On Sunday June 26th I substituted and it was my first time to teach at Velco.
We started off by talking about what we've done and watched on TV recently.
Our conversation randomly changed a lot! We talked about nuclear accidents, where we work, and our favorite Japanese food. We also talked about special diets that are popular in Japan.
We also talked about food texture words, like:
Fluffy........ふわふわ
Chewy......くちゃくちゃ
Crunchy....ざくざく
Crispy.......ぱりぱり
など。。。

I am excited to substitute again on Sunday July 3rd. I would like to practice some tongue twisters! If you want to know what a "tongue twister" is, please come!!!
