楽しかったね～パーティー。
Dining EARTHで約２０人が集まって、飲んだり食べたり、
講師と生徒の中を深めました。
新しい生徒さんや、大学からのお客さまも迎えて
４時間以上にわたっておしゃべり。
また、新年会も～なんて、みなさんとても楽しかったようです。
是非、またやりたいですね。

  

3 & 4. We talked about last night's Fushimi Velco party and one person's trip to Madagascar. Then we talked about food and cooking.
  

Again we talked about a lot of things. It was nice to hear that Mr. Yamamoto
participates in volunteer activities. It was also interesting to hear the
opinions concerning the state of traditional Japanese culture during these
days.

語学を習得するには、単語を覚えたり文法を覚えたりという、地道な努力と、テレビやラジオで英語を聞いて音に慣れる、そして実際に話して英語を使う、この３つのバランスが大切ですが・・・
やっぱりどうしても日本で語学をする場合は、最後の使う、が難しいですね。
独学でも、最初の二つは出来ますが、最後の使うは一人で家でするわけにはいきません。
おうちで覚えた単語やフレーズをどんどん、フリートークのクラスで使って是非３つめの”使う”の場にして頂きたいと思います。

We talked about food again. Everybody loves eating excellent sashimi and other Japanese delicacies as well as discussing great places to eat and drink. We chatted about Higashi Honganji too.
