7PM: Junior High School Students
We learned how to describe people's physical appearance and personality. Now
we can say how our family members and friends look like in English! We also
spent time learning the pronunciation of [a:r].

thanks for joining me on this muggy day. I just hope it will get cool soon
enough...
I was quite surprised nobody wanted to see the Gion Festival parade, but
maybe it's not that fascinating for residents of Kyoto. I do anyway hope you
have a relaxing weekend and ease into the next week without any trouble.

5-7時：中学生
本日のトピックは"Describing
people"。人の特徴や性格をあらわす単語や表現を勉強し、身の回りの人や有名人を英語で紹介出来るようになりました。また発音の練習、早口言葉、英語での野球の用語を説明することなどにも挑戦しました。ところで、今日はレッスンが始まるなり雨と雷で外がすごいことになっていましたが、不思議なことに終わる頃には穏やかになっていて良かったです。次回以降もこの調子で頑張りましょう！
  

8PM-Free conversation (2 people): We introduced ourselves briefly and then
talked about the countries that we've visited/lived. Also, we spent a couple
of minutes reading a short article from an English newspaper (it was about a
lady who earned a college degree at the age of 94...!). We'll read more
articles in the upcoming weeks and build the vocabulary!
