初めてのレッスンだったので、慣れる為にリスニング、リーディングを幾つか解いて、解説をしました。

Do you know that most of the ski words we use are mostly German?　We should be proud of ourselves; we know some German besides English!

snowplow は除雪車の意味　除雪車のごとくすべるからですかね？

be going ～ing を使っているのは確定率がかなり高い未来だからです。

A.That sounds great! I have not skiied for three years.

Today's student's information;
Ski was introduced by Austrian soldier in Niigata prefecture in 1911. Next year is 100 year ski celebration, isn't it?
